Northern Delaware Basin Assets
Trace Midstream currently operates best-in-class natural gas gathering and transportation assets in the Northern Delaware Basin. Located in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico, Trace Midstream’s natural gas gathering and transportation system consists of high- and low-pressure gas pipelines with associated compression, dehydration, condensate handling, and vapor recovery capabilities.
The new Apollo Gas Plant, expected to be in-service during the 4th quarter of 2027, will add 250 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of cryogenic natural gas processing capacity, significantly expanding our service offerings across southeastern New Mexico. With the completion of the Apollo Gas Plant, the Trace footprint will offer additional services across the natural gas value chain, giving producers in the region a fully integrated, wellhead-to-market platform.
What began as a focused gathering and compression system has grown into one of the most expansive, newly constructed natural gas midstream systems in the Northern Delaware Basin, with the ability to gather and transport more than 800 MMcf/d.
